Photographer Chris Ryan shoots events, portraits, and editorial content in the San Francisco, San Jose, and Santa Cruz areas. Chris delivers event photography for corporate, NGO, and individual clients; editorial photography for local and national magazines, newspapers, and websites; and environmental portraits (outside-the-studio) for individuals and families.
Chris's biggest artistic interest is travel photography. An experienced globetrotter, Chris has brought back unique images from wild and wonderful locales like Easter Island, Cambodia, Machu Picchu, and the Galapagos. Fine art prints of people and landscapes from many parts of the globe are available for purchase.
Education: Chris has learned from some of the best commercial, portrait, and travel photographers in the country. His education ranges from formal instruction at the prestigious Santa Fe Workshops to hands-on experience with a National Geographic photographer in challenging environments. |
